    BERRY BASIL SMASH

    This tasty summer treat is the perfect patio companion. Vibrant strawberries and basil syrup paired with a splash of lemon juice and Aperol make for a cocktail you can sip all season long!
    ingredients
    2OZ
    Empress 1908 Gin
    ½OZ
    Aperol
    ¾OZ
    Fresh Lemon Juice
    ¾OZ
    Basil Syrup
    2
    Strawberries, chopped
    Basil Leaves
    Method
    Muddle two strawberries, chopped, in the bottom of a shaker and all ingredients but the gin. Shake on ice and strain into a stemless wine glass. Add fresh ice, and float Empress 1908 Gin on top. Garnish with a basil leaf.
