New Glassware = New Experience!

Switching up your glassware is a fun and easy tip to up your everyday cocktail game. We love using a Collins or Copa glass, but it’s easy to make it your own with your favourite unique vessel!

Looking for affordable glassware alternatives? Visit your local thrift stores for a treasure trove of drinking glasses. Whether it’s vintage or gently used, you can mix and match with friends at your next get-together! Glassware roulette, anyone?

MEET our go-to: the copa

We believe an ice-cold E&T is always the way to go. By using a Copa Glass, you avoid warming up your cocktail with your hands, keeping your cocktail perfectly chilled!

2. Tonic

The perfect compliment to Empress 1908’s premium flavour is mixing with exceptional tonics! Classic tonic is our go-to, but it’s easy to take it up a notch with the following from Fever-Tree & Fentimans!

P.S. Elderflower Tonic pairs incredibly with Empress 1908 Gin, don’t just trust us, try it yourself with the tasty Empress & Elderflower recipe!

3. Garnish

From left, try the Spanish E&T, Empress & Tonic, and @bitesizedstudio’s Empress Sunset.

By adding seasonal final touches like berries and fresh herbs, you can easily change up our signature grapefruit slice. You can use cocktail picks to fasten the garnish, or simply place them on the drink!

(You can find our Signature Mixology Tools, apparel, and accessories here if you’re in Canada, and here if you’re in the US!)

Garnish ideas:
  • Citrus wheels & twists (why not try lime, grapefruit, orange, lemon, or blood orange!)
  • Fresh fruit or berries (we love blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and pomegranate seeds)
  • Herbs (opt for basil, mint, thyme, rosemary, or a cedar sprig for that earthy aroma!)
  • Florals (dried or edible flowers make for a show-stopping addition!)
